Kris Vernold, MPT, and Marcy Davidson, PT, each bring more than 25 years of experience serving the Glens Falls–Queensbury community

QUEENSBURY, N.Y. – Capital Area Physical Therapy and Wellness has added physical therapists Kris Vernold, MPT, and Marcy Davidson, PT, to its Queensbury clinic at 820 State Route 9. Both clinicians have practiced in the local community for more than 25 years and expand the clinic’s capacity for orthopedic rehabilitation, post-surgical care, and specialized treatment of conditions such as vertigo.

Kris Vernold, MPT, is a Hartford, NY, native who began his college studies at Adirondack Community College, where he played soccer and earned a liberal arts degree. He went on to earn his Master of Physical Therapy from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. Vernold entered the field in 2000 at Glens Falls Hospital. He specializes in post-operative orthopedic care and the treatment of BPPV/vertigo, and places strong emphasis on educating patients so they can manage their conditions and achieve the best possible functional outcomes.

Marcy Davidson, PT, is a Maine native who has lived in Queensbury for the past 23 years. She graduated with honors from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT, and began her career at Mount Desert Island Hospital in Bar Harbor, Maine. Davidson has extensive outpatient orthopedic experience and is known for treating patients with compassion and dignity while making the recovery process enjoyable. She also integrates principles of functional medicine and nutrition to support maximal rehabilitation from injury.

“We’ve surrounded ourselves with great people who care about others and are constantly working to excel in their field, both clinically and non-clinically,” said Andrew Gaetano, DPT, co-owner of Capital Area Physical Therapy and Wellness. “The addition of Kris and Marcy reflects our continued dedication to that standard and strengthens the care we can offer patients in the Queensbury community.”
